Konetme is a ride-booking platform that helps users book keke and motorcycle rides. This policy applies to both the Konetme user app and the Konetme driver app.

• Location information: approximate or precise location when needed for booking, navigation, trip matching, and map features.
• Payment information: transaction-related information processed through Paystack.
• Booking information: ride requests, trip history, driver details, fare details, and service status.
• Driver verification and onboarding information: vehicle license or registration, national identity card, driver information, vehicle information, and payment details for driver account setup and payouts.
• Device and usage information: app activity, crashes, logs, and device information needed to keep the app working properly.

• Create and manage user and driver accounts.
• Verify driver identity and vehicle eligibility.
• Process driver onboarding and payouts.
• Match users with available drivers.
• Provide maps, directions, and trip tracking.
• Process payments and confirm transactions.

4. Third-Party Services

Konetme uses trusted third-party services to provide core features:

• Google Sign-In: used for authentication and login.
• Apple Sign-In: used for authentication and login.
• Google Maps: used for map display, location, routing, and trip support.
• Paystack: used for secure payment processing.

These services may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing

We may share limited data with drivers, users, payment providers, and service providers only when necessary to complete bookings, process payments, verify driver information, or operate the app. We do not sell personal information.

6. Account Deletion

Users can request account deletion from inside the app. When a user taps the delete account option, they are logged out and a deletion request is sent so we can remove their account and associated data from our systems, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.

7. Data Retention

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our terms.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

Konetme is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
